On City Day, July 2, when Vladivostok celebrates its birthday, a new season of the Striped Navigator project starts. On the eve of the launch of the new season, the Tourist Information Center of Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye) announces the recruitment of volunteers for training from May 28 to June 25. Classes will be held once a week. Class time: from 18:30 to 19:30. Address: Svetlanskaya St., 43.

You can apply for training through portal Dobro.RF. Contact phone for communication: +7 (914) 697 12 25 (Victoria).

Every year Vladivostok attracts more tourists not only from the regions of Russia, but also from other countries. Therefore, when communicating with tourists, it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of the mentality of guests, as well as their culture, ethics and language.

And before the volunteers go outside, the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) conducts training for children. During this educational process, volunteers have the opportunity to prepare for work on the routes: learn methods of communication with tourists; learn more facts not only about the city, but also about the region; hear from experts methods of working with foreign tourists and exchange experience. Upon graduation, volunteers are given specialized teaching aids. They contain useful information for interaction with tourists: contacts, restaurants, tips for communicating with tourists from different countries and much more. " This is the final training before the start of the high season of our project. This time it was possible to change the time to the evening for the convenience of our assistants. Traditionally, the tourism industry has attracted various speakers and experts to the training. Upon completion, we plan to create an updated register of volunteers. There are a lot of plans ahead, we plan to continue the work season until mid-September, said Anastasia Povetkina, deputy head of the tourist and information department of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory. The project was launched on the initiative of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) in 2019 and is still successfully carried out every year. Volunteers can be seen on the streets and recognized through a special uniform bright orange. They run along the central routes of Vladivostok and help the guests of the city to find out what objects of the show can be visited, where to try the Far Eastern cuisine, what interesting events are now taking place in the region and not only.
