The popularity of apartments and apart-hotels in Vladivostok has tripled

The popularity of apart-hotels and apartments for recreation in early summer is growing noticeably. A real breakthrough was demonstrated in Vladivostok by collective accommodation facilities of this type.

In June 2024, apartments and apart-hotels in the country account for every third booking (32%). This trend is noted by specialists of the online booking service of hotels and apartments of Islets. The share of apartments in the booking structure is growing from year to year. And if in 2022 it was 22%, then in 2023 it is already 27%.

In Russian apartments and apart-hotels in early summer there is the highest increase in the number of reservations compared to other types of objects - by 27% compared to last year. For comparison: in the Crimea - almost twice, in Tatarstan, Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov regions - one and a half times. In the Krasnodar Territory, the Stavropol Territory, the Kaliningrad Region and Dagestan, the demand for apartments and apart-hotels has increased within a third. 

We add that at a recent meeting on the presentation of the gastronomic guide to Vladivostok from MTS Travel, the “layout” of KSR bookings for this summer was presented. At the end of May, apartments and apart-hotels preferred 10% of guests from the total number of visitors arriving in Vladivostok and choosing different accommodation facilities. First, thanks to the availability of a kitchen in such facilities, travelers can significantly reduce the cost of food in cafes and restaurants, which is especially important on long trips. Secondly, the area of apartments is often larger than in hotels, and can include several rooms - it is convenient for tourists with children and vacationers with a large company. Thirdly, the price factor also plays an important role: apartments are among the most budgetary formats of accommodation on vacation, said the head of the press service of the online booking service of hotels and apartments of Ostrovok Anita Gusich.

The average cost of a booked night in Russian apartments of various stars for June is 5,800 rubles - 18% higher than last year (4,900 rubles), in apartments - 5 000 rubles (+11%, 4,500 rubles;p> Despite the growing popularity of apartments, hotels remain the most sought-after accommodation, accounting for 51% of all bookings in June. At the same time, Vladivostok demonstrates a significant increase in the number of reservations here, the demand for accommodation in the Far Eastern capital increased by 32%. For comparison: in Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad and Moscow - by 15%.

The average cost of a booked night in accommodation facilities in the country is 5,200 rubles, which is 17% higher than last year's values (4,450 rubles).
