Demand creates supply – it is an axiom. After studying consumer demand, new ideas appear, proposals are born. Primorye has a wide range of offers for different target audiences: environmental, gastronomic, cognitive, extreme, youth, children's tourism, etc. And I am glad that these proposals find a response from guests when visiting Primorye, said Olga Gurevich, Director of the Tourist Information Center of Primorye (Visit Primorye) during the round table of RBC National Project.
Tourism and the hospitality industry. Very often tourists mistakenly think that during the day they will have time to visit the Khasansky district, drive to Nakhodka and drive to the north of the region. But given that Primorye is a geographically elongated region, such a march-throw will not work in a short time. And to see everything conceived, to enjoy the rest, nature, you need to come to the region several times. Our task and the task of our operators is to work correctly with these tourists and opinion leaders, to explain to them that Primorye is very different. And the fact that the guest saw Vladivostok and Khasansky district does not mean that he saw all Primorye. And every corner of him deserves attention and acquaintance with him. We actively work with participants of advertising and press tours. With bloggers, and always try to explain these regional features to them, added Olga Gurevich.
Many tourists are attracted by the seaside beaches, thousands of people come to relax by the sea in the summer, go with families, companies. They come in their cars. In its work, it is important for the regional tourism business and the Tourist Information Center of Primorye to expand the boundaries of the season, to convey to the guests of the region the idea that there is something to do in the region in spring, autumn, and winter. And here, as arguments, you can use a rich event calendar, which covers events including in the districts of the region, new hotels and recreation centers, where you can relax comfortably at any time of the year. “There are enough places in Primorye where tourists simply do not have time to get there. I want our guests to know and visit the Lazovsky district, visited the Bikin National Park, Sikhote-Alinsky Reserve. We have so many places and target audiences to reach, ranging from children to UFO lovers and shamans, so there’s a lot to work on. Tour companies offer many interesting tours around the edge in winter, spring and autumn. And even when you visit one place, they are very different from each other. I want to convey to the whole of Russia that September and October are the most beautiful time in Primorye, added Olga Gurevich.
