Primorye is for love, or how the forum “Travel!” was held in Moscow

Ready to go to Primorye for adventures and impressions. Such plans were voiced by visitors to the regional stand, which worked all days of the fifth International Tourism Forum “Travel!”. Each potential tourist “received” his own: ideas and proposals from extreme and drive for young to measured rest for couples.

The Anniversary International Tourist Forum “Travel!” was held on the territory of the recreation park VDNKh from 10 to 15 June. Life was boiling at all venues. Tourism was both a litmus and a catalyst for the work of this large-scale event

In addition to a rich business program, in parallel, a presentation of the tourist potential of the regions was held on the alleys of VDNKh. The peak day fell on the national holiday - Russia Day. During the exhibition, and this is from 10:00 to 20:00, a large number of Muscovites and guests of the capital visited the pavilions of the regions, which made it possible to look at Russia as a tourist object through the eyes of tourists: places of rest, hotels, infrastructure, the possibility of traveling by car, entertainment for children, security, prices, etc. All regions attracted guests of the event with original decorated stands, songs and dances, folk culture and local gastronomy, various activities: from quizzes to postcards, from drawing prizes to working photo zones

Primorsky Krai treated the guests of the forum with the famous candy "Bird's milk" and Far Eastern lemonade, which was based on seaside berries and wildflowers. Everyone actively sent postcards with views of Vladivostok around Russia.

Former residents of Primorye, who in different years moved to the capital, were nostalgic at the stand: they lasted with memories, savored treats, watched the summer issue of the magazine "Wonders of Primorye" and with a sigh said that they would like to spend time traveling around their native land.

"At one of the tourist exhibitions took the issue of the magazine "Wonders of Primorye" and the next year went to work in Primorsky Krai. Weekdays were held in the office, and on weekends she traveled actively: she watched the fortification, managed to visit seven lighthouses, got acquainted with the history of the city.   Particularly impressed by the amazing nature and color of Vladivostok - the dynamic rhythm of life, the sea, Asian motifs, amazing architecture. And that wasn't enough for me. I want to come back again, says 63-year-old Nina F.  

Many people expressed their desire to visit the eastern borders of Russia, and the 9-hour flight did not scare anyone. On the contrary, there were enough of those who already had a ticket to the shores of the Golden Horn in their pocket. Some bought a ticket impromptu and at the regional stand with the help of booklets, maps, guidebooks and employees of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) tried to make a travel program in Primorye. Others asked for general information, stressing that if not this year, then it will be used later.

"We have a large family, and everyone had a dream to visit Primorye. We decided that children, grandparents will be the first to get acquainted with your region. And these days they are already in Vladivostok. Plans to visit the aquarium, Safari Park, beautiful beaches. It seemed to us that Vladivostok is great for relaxing with children and families. And now we hope that we will win a ticket and come to you next year with the whole family, says 38-year-old Nadezhda A.

Were in Vladivostok last year, the city was very pleased. Museums, art galleries - everything was on top. Beautiful Russian Island. I remember a bookstore in Millionka Lane. I am still re-reading the book “The Ark of Children or an Incredible Odyssey” about the events of a hundred years ago. The story was incredible, and there is a lot about Vladivostok. It is sad that little is known about this book. It was an incredible experience and I want to come back.
