Primorye will present the festival of port cities “5 seas, 3 oceans” at the exhibition “Russia” in Moscow

The festival itself was first held on Navy Day in Vladivostok in July 2023, and now it has taken a strong position in the event calendar of the Primorsky Territory. It was organized by the tourist and information center of the Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye) with the support of the Gastronomy Map of Russia The festival is an association of the largest port cities of Russia, memories of service in the Navy, naval customs and naval recipes. And the famous restaurateurs and chefs, who in different years served in the Navy, their secrets of cooking and their memories.
In 2023, more than 13 thousand dishes were sold within the festival, and more than 20 thousand people became guests of the festival. The team of leading chefs of Primorsky Krai will acquaint guests of the House of Russian Cuisine with the gastronomic potential of the region and the Festival of Port Cities and will conduct master classes and tastings of Far Eastern cuisine. Egor Anisimov and Dmitry Koval (Zuma restaurant, Vladivostok) will offer guests of the event sugudai and stroganin, but not from fish, but from octopusk, demonstrating different ways of cooking and serving this mollusk. Maxim Mozharovsky and Anton Gerego (panoramic restaurant of the water complex "Aquatoria", Vladivostok) use a wide range of seafood: from commander squid and sea cabbage will prepare a delicious salad "Far Eastern", and from crab and pollock - bits in sour cream sauce. Of the three types of sea kale, he will prepare a salad "Three kelp", and the gastropod shellfish trumpeter will become the basis of an appetizer flavored with oriental sauce - an easy-to-cook dish will surprise the most demanding gourmet. Alexander Kazakevich (Restaurant Millionka, Vladivostok) will perform a gastronomic ode to coukumaria. Once this product was served exclusively to the imperial table, but now it is marinade and fried with venison will taste all the guests of the DRC. The naval unity and maritime ingenuity will be demonstrated by the seaside ambassadors of the Far Eastern gastronomy during master classes from the team of chefs of the Far East. In several hands will prepare three ears – Black Sea, Pomor and seaside, as well as the famous “pasta in the fleet”. Participates in the event VIA "Marines of Russia". The speech during the presentation event will feature songs about the fleet, Primorsky Krai, heroism of sailors, family traditions, the sea and ships.
Primorsky Krai actively participates in the work of the House of Russian cuisine, demonstrating the gastronomic possibilities of the eastern borders of Russia. This will allow the guests of the event not only to try the dishes offered by the Primorye and see the process of their preparation, but also to plunge into the atmosphere of the region, learn interesting stories and facts about Vladivostok and Primorye. Thanks to such events, the region is definitely becoming closer and clearer for residents of the western regions of the country. Navy Day is one of the brightest holidays in the region.
