Primorye will host the All-Russian Youth Theatre Festival “Place of Power – Vladivostok” in July

In Primorye will be held the first all-Russian youth theater festival “Place of power – Vladivostok”. The event will be attended by leading theaters of Moscow, St. Petersburg and new regions of the country, as well as young specialists in the field of culture and art, for whom classes will be organized in creative laboratories under the guidance of masters of theater art. This was stated by the Governor of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako at the Days of the Far East of the international exhibition "Russia" on Friday, May 24. 

The All-Russian Youth Theatre Festival "Place of Power - Vladivostok" will definitely become one of the symbols of Vladivostok as the Youth Capital of Russia, the Governor of Primorye is sure.

"Vladivostok is a city where guests are loved. Vladivostok is a city of young people. Together with Moscow, we became the Youth Capital of our country. We've been going for a long time. The festivals that will take place, the international student sports games and the gathering of young scientists will certainly frame the high cultural, scientific and educational life of our youth. Why is Vladivostok a city of young people? Because we have a university, we have a lot of theaters, a choreographic school, a music school – all this also forms a cultural and educational environment, works to attract guests who are happy to attend performances. Our Youth Theatre, Gorky Theatre, Puppet Theatre – all of them will be involved in this festival. There will be an Asian Theatre Festival. We have the cross years of culture of Russia and China, so we will see many more Chinese performances. I want to wish you luck and success! The festival performances will be held from July 22 to 24 at the leading cultural venues of Vladivostok: the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theater, the Youth Theater, the Regional Philharmonic, the Pushkin Theater of FEFU.

It is expected that during the festival the Moscow Council State Academic Theater Theater, the Center for the Mariinsky Theater, the Artistic Theater, the Artistic Space of Donetsk, and the Republican Theater, the Artistic Space of the Artist. Viewers will be able to see famous Russian directors and actors: Vladimir Mashkov, Yevgeny Tsyganov, Yulia Snigir, Alexander Yatsko, Anastasia Makeeva.In addition to theatrical shows, an extensive educational program is provided. Leading theatrical figures of Russia will open their creative laboratories for young specialists in the field of culture and art from 18 to 35 years old. You can apply until June 15 on the festival website. Recruitment of participants will be held on a competitive basis. Visiting all classes is free. 

As listeners, employees of cultural institutions, students and teachers of creative universities of the Far Eastern Federal District will be able to attend classes in creative laboratories without age restriction.
