The magazine "Recreation in Russia" together with the center of information communications "Rating" conducted the tenth annual study of the tourist attractiveness of Russian regions.
And all this time Primorsky Krai, occupying the 7th place, is invariably included in the "golden" ten regions, for which economic "justify", active development of tourism and the sphere of hospitality.
" We see how the popularity of the region and the tourist flow are growing. To attract tourists, the industry is constantly in good shape: new routes, event events, objects of visit appear. We are systematically working on attracting guests, both Russians and foreign tourists to the region. We try to convey to the tourist that, in addition to the traditional sea and beaches, there are other types of recreation. And here we see the demand – local history festivals, held in spring, autumn and winter, allow you to level the tourist season, in some cases reduce the burden on infrastructure. To the top five, we are still growing and growing. But it is very important not to lose the gained positions. 2025 is ahead – and these are new projects, ideas, there is confidence that the trend for the development of domestic tourism and acquaintance with Primorye, our nature, gastronomy, rich history will continue, said Olga Gurevich, Director of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye).
It is worth noting that the creation of new roadside infrastructure facilities contributes to the development of auto tourism. The emergence of ecological and tourist trails contributes to the development of active recreation and hiking tourism. These projects fit entrepreneurial initiatives: the organization of modern beach areas, recreation areas, catering points, excursion routes. Alternate accommodation facilities, including campsites and glampings, are becoming increasingly louder and here rest is no longer limited to beaches, guests are offered various programs: from corporate time building to retreats and plein airs. Recall that in 2024, about 3.9 million trips were made in Primorye.
