In Vladivostok on Friday, June 27, the sixth stream of the tourist and volunteer project "Striped Navigator" started. Despite the unusual heat, volunteers went on the usual routes. One of the most popular routes is along Admiral Fokin Street towards the embankment of Sports Harbour and Jubilee Beach. The uniform of the project has remained unchanged for many years - a bright, orange shape using "tiger" legs to beat "five" passers-by.

The key task of the project has remained unchanged for six years – it is to help tourists and advise guests of the city. This summer, we are again working with volunteers who are again on the routes and are ready to advise and help tourists plan their holidays in Primorye. We plan to hold the walking season until mid-September, including the dates of the Eastern Economic Forum. Volunteers not only advise tourists, but also ask them where they came from, for how long and what they plan to visit. So we can collect information on requests for further work, shared thoughts on the working moments of the project Anastasia Povetkina, Deputy Head of the Tourism and Information Department of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye).

There are already many tourists in the city, and my daughter and I on the route helped them. Tourists really need communication. And despite the large amount of information on the Internet, guests ask a lot of questions: from visiting certain places to transport routes, what you can see in a museum or gallery and what bottom on a particular beach. We tried to help them and answer all requests, said Marina K., a volunteer of the sixth stream .
