The staff of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) emphasized: education in the field of tourism opens up the widest opportunities for career growth and self-realization for young professionals. The Center actively cooperates with Vladivostok State University, which is the basic organization of the educational cluster of secondary vocational education “Tourism and Services” of the Primorsky Territory of the Federal Project “Professionality”. Moreover, the Center acts as a key partner-employer of the cluster, actively accepting students for practice and internship, as well as considering the possibility of their further employment. All these initiatives are aimed at showing the attractiveness of the tourism industry as fully as possible and motivating the younger generation to make an informed choice of education and subsequent successful career in this promising field
The second part of the event was an interactive game "About Primorye", which was developed by the tourist information department of the Tourist Information Center of Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye) this year. The questions concerned the most interesting places of Primorye: reserves and national parks, historical monuments and personalities, unique natural phenomena and cultural traditions.
For each correct answer, the guys received a piece of the puzzle - part of the map of the Primorsky Territory. With excitement, united in teams, they answered questions, tried to remember everything they knew about their native land, and step by step approached completion. As a result, by joint efforts, schoolchildren successfully collected a map of the Primorsky Territory. This puzzle became a symbol of their knowledge, teamwork and love for their native land.
" We are glad to see that young Primorye people show such a keen interest in tourism! Our task is not only to talk about opportunities, but also to inspire them to choose professions in this promising field. The future of Primorye tourism is in the hands of this generation!, shared Anastasia Povetkina, Deputy Head of the Tourism and Information Department of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye).
Such career-oriented lessons help students to see in the field of tourism not just a promising direction, but also the opportunity to realize their dreams, to be interested in the history and culture of their native land.
