Three wedding couples from Primorye played a wedding at the exhibition “Russia”

At the international exhibition-forum "Russia" on May 12, the first All-Russian wedding festival started.

In the program: a wedding procession, cries of "bitter" and a solemn wedding ceremony. A characteristic feature of these celebrations were wedding traditions, ceremonies, dresses of different regions and nationalities. Marriages at VDNKh will be held during the week until May 19, so that visitors to the exhibition can see a real kaleidoscope of outfits, customs, congratulations, songs and dances. Since the beginning of the exhibition, about 130 couples have married here, but no celebration has ever seen such a mass and such a color. On the first day at the exhibition-forum "Russia" the wedding was played by 151 couples from 79 regions of the country. The event was held on the holiday of Red Gorka, which traditionally opens the wedding season: in Russia it was believed that couples who created a family on this day, waiting for happiness and prosperity. Two seaside couples registered their marriage on May 12, one on May 13. For the solemn moment, the newlyweds preferred clothes with national color to the usual dresses and costumes. During the week, theatrical processions, master classes, concerts and performances will be held at the exhibition site

Seaside couples on the main stage of the exhibition "Russia" will perform accompanied by the Korean dance ensemble "Koryo Dance". At the regional stand, master classes will be held on the manufacture of wedding Korean fans, “happy” doll-key chains, decorating Korean traditional theater masks. And before the solemn day, the seaside brides became participants of the first and immediately all-Russian bachelorette party “Nevestina pancakes” in the House of Russian Kitchen. The girls demonstrated their skills of future hostess. Tourist Information Center of Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye) co-organized the trip of the seaside newlyweds to the international exhibition-forum "Russia" to participate in the first wedding festival. We constantly tell our tourists about this. Guests get acquainted with the history and traditions of small nationalities, visit national holidays, including Tatar Sabantuy, Yakut Ysyakh, Korean Chusok, etc. And it's great that our couples have been able to showcase this diversity. This made it possible to show the potential of the East of Russia through costumes, creative master classes, said Olga Gurevich, Director of the Tourist Information Center of Primorye.
