Tourist and information center of Primorye for tourist police officers organized a new course of lectures

In Vladivostok, on the eve of the start of the tourist season in the region, a specialized platoon of the regiment of the MIA of Russia is being trained in the city of Vladivostok (note: tourist police). At the introductory lesson, issues of tourist infrastructure, events of the Primorsky Territory and the importance of Vladivostok obtaining the status of “Youth Capital of Russia-2024” were considered. Throughout April, the staff of the Tourist Information Center of Primorye (Visit Primorye) will hold working meetings with the tourist police, other speakers will be involved for an integrated approach to training. " This year, our cooperation with the tourist police decided to continue and strengthen the training and in-depth study of a number of topical issues. We will try to put maximum productivity into each lesson to study the planned tasks. Our common goal with the tourist police is to provide a comfortable information environment for tourists. And by joint efforts, we will be able to achieve even greater results, said Anastasia Povetkina, Deputy Head of the Tourism and Information Department of the Tourist Information Center of Primorye. 

Tourist police officers throughout the whole time work together with the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) with the support of the Tourism Agency of the Primorsky Territory. In the past seasons, lectures were held for representatives on the basics of interaction with tourists, local history, a foreign language. 

It is always pleasant to interact with the staff of the Tourist Information Center of Primorye, together we solve a number of key tasks for our specialized unit. Earlier, we jointly created a manual on algorithms for working with tourist insurance cases. Training for us is an opportunity to learn and study the features of the tourist potential of the Primorsky Territory and its promotion. This year, before the start of the new tourist season, preparations have already begun. We expect that there will be even more guests in our region, we are waiting for tourists from different parts of Russia and from abroad, added Tatyana Sharonova, commander of the specialized platoon of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Primorsky Territory. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Primorsky Krai announced recruitment for service in a specialized unit, whose duties include providing a comfortable and safe environment for guests of our region, including foreign tourists. The visual difference of the staff of a specialized platoon is an armband with an inscription. In addition to ensuring safety and comfort, the main tasks of the tourist police are patrolling the routes of the central part of the city, advising tourists, prompt response to illegal actions against city guests.
