Tourist and information center of Primorye at the exhibition FOOD EXPO told about the connection of business, local products and event events

Synergy of relations between tourism, restaurant business and manufacturer, the task of gas festivals, the promotion of local product, the use of geography and national potential is the basis for the promotion of Far Eastern cuisine, which is actively used by the Tourist Information Center of Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye) in the promotion of the region. It’s not really just about food. This is a platform where the presentation of local products, there was a dialogue of like-minded people, the best chefs of the country shared their practical skills. Primorye residents, and this is the sous-chef of the pan-Asian restaurant Zuma Egor Anisimov and the brand-chef of the panoramic restaurant of the water complex "Aquatoria" Maxim Mozharovsky, prepared sticks with pollock (note: pipes from rice dough stuffed with minced pollock with the addition of cilantro) and open mini pies with pollock, spinach and broccoli. From the taiga to the Ocean, Svetlana Bokova presented a fish cutlet - this is a huge patty with filling. As a result, the guests, who are about 120 experts, chefs and future “stars” of the industry, were presented with dishes of Far Eastern cuisine: 150 sticks, 100 pies, 100 servings.

Demonstrating the possibilities of preparing certain dishes, we focused on the local regional product, its promotion both in the domestic market and outside the region. They also stressed that the local product is the basis of our gas festivals, which take into account not only the local product line, but also seasonality, said Vitaly Stanislavchuk, Head of the Programs and Analytics Department of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye). For example, the established tandem of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) and restaurants allowed to bring the latter to the streets, attract them to participate in gastro festivals and show the merits of a product. Another feature is collaboration with business, which allows you to conduct advertising campaigns aimed at forming the image of the Primorsky Territory through food from fast food to high cuisine in status restaurants. An important point in the work of the Tourist and Information Center of Primorye is the promotion of the region at different sites at the expense of its own potential (note: local products, a team of chefs) through the prism of Far Eastern cuisine. But in our work we are not limited only to the borders of the Primorsky Territory, but always focus on the Far East. Here and now represented the potential of the Far Eastern cuisine, combining the capabilities of the subjects. Uniting the regions in promoting tourism through gastronomy is an important moment, said Vitaly Stanislavchuk. 

The formation of a regional product can only go through its purchasing opportunities in chain stores. One of the tasks of our site is to show that the product sold in the store can be prepared tasty and useful for the body. The most important thing is that this product is a regional feature of the subjects who take part in the event within the framework of FOOD EXPO, - summarized the author-methodist and head of the project "Gastronomic Map of Russia" Ekaterina Shapovalova.
