Tourist Information Center of Primorye supported the participants of the Pacific First Aid Olympiad with integrated meals

On October 5, the Second Pacific First Aid Olympiad was held in Vladivostok. The event allowed to demonstrate the importance of studying first aid techniques in modern realities and united citizens interested in providing first aid.  

The event participants were helped by the Tourist Information Center of Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye) and the Omlet Station breakfast cafe, organizing meals on the site. 

The competitions were held in four categories: families, schoolchildren, caring citizens and professionals.  In total, more than 50 teams took part in the Olympiad, each with at least 4 people. And it was not only the Primorye, teams from different regions of the Far Eastern District came - Sakhalin and Kamchadals demonstrated their knowledge. Plus the jury members for each category, the fans and just curious. The gastronomic support was very helpful. The complex lunch included a Far Eastern ear with sockeye and pollock, cooked in a vat of pilaf and herbal tea. A total of 300 portions were distributed. We had enough supplements, everyone liked the treat. And those responsible for the food received a lot of feedback on the sincerity of the event.  

Also the information desk of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) functioned on the site. The greatest interest among the participants of the event was to excursion programs in Vladivostok: routes, time, tour companies-organizers, accessibility for different categories of citizens, etc. It is worth noting that the ability to provide first aid is an important aspect in the work of instructors-guides responsible for the safety of tourists on the route. Today in Primorye in the register of certified instructors-guides – 41 people. Each of them in case of emergency situations can provide first aid, and carry out emergency rescue work on the route.
