Tour operators revealed the secrets and myths of rhododendron

The tour of the Botanical Garden was very informative and relevant more than ever. It's flowering season on the calendar. Learned a lot of interesting facts about rhododendron: where it is fashionable to meet, what kinds are there, how to distinguish one species from another. We left the tour with new knowledge, remembered and tightened the previously studied material. We can say boldly: ready for the season! Hour excursion "Rhododendron". Myths and Reality" was held in the Botanical Garden of the FEB RAS. And guides for representatives of the tourism industry were specialists of the Botanical Garden.  Who better not know all the secrets of rhododendron: why this plant has become a symbol of Vladivostok, what lies behind its name, what legends are associated with flowering, features of rhododendrons and centuries-old traditions...

"A lot of interesting learned about different types of rhododendrons growing both in Primorye and beyond. Do not ignore the primary flowers, conifers and those trees that will begin to bloom in the near future. Very useful was the acquaintance with the library, where we were shown fresh publications of books about plants in our region, advised literature when organizing excursions, added Tatyana Chunizhekova from the company "ForiTour Primorye".

Immersion in a living scientific environment and participation in such a tour will allow travel companies to subsequently make acquaintance with Primorye really inspiring and filled with interesting facts. Recall that the second local history festival of rhododendron takes place in Primorye from April 25 to May 11 this year.
