Take part in the contest for the best trip

Residents and guests of Primorsky Krai still have time to go on a trip around the edge and win a cash prize. Less than two months are left before the end of the acceptance of applications for the II All-Russian competition for the best trip to the Far East. The Far East is the Land of Adventure. 

The jury of the competition accepts applications until December 30, 2024. The prize fund of the second season of the competition amounted to more than 7 million rubles, which will be distributed among 10 winners and prize-winners. The author of the best video about a trip to the Far East will receive the main prize - 3 million rubles.

Primorye is a unique and unusual region, rich in natural, historical and cultural heritage of the Far Eastern Federal District. In the second season, more than 30 films about the Primorsky Territory have already been submitted - this is 2 times more than last year. 

You can read about the beauties of our country in the book, but you can not get new impressions and emotions. To do this, you need to go on a trip, get acquainted with nature, enjoy and transmit your feelings to others. This is what the competition implies: participants travel, pass famous tourist routes in their own way, convey their own unique emotions, share experiences and experiences. This author’s highlight and interested the viewer, – said the Minister of Tourism of the Primorsky Territory Natalia Naboichenko.

This year the competition is held in three categories: “Hidden Journey”, “Water trip” and “Winter trip”. The evaluation criteria have become broader. For example, in the category “Hidden Journey” will also be evaluated cycling routes in the wild, in the nomination “Water Journey” – underwater travel and surfing, and for “Winter Journey” you can send video reports on winter cycling routes and snowboarding. Travelers can participate in all three categories at once, but no more than one video in each category is accepted from a person. In the adventure, you can not use motor equipment, but you can get to the starting point of the route by any transport. The duration of the film should not exceed 8 minutes. In addition, the video journey must contain voice accompaniment, and the participant must be present in the frame. All the rules can be found at page the official website of the competition. 

To participate in the competition, you must submit an application on the website  Adults and children over the age of 10 can take part in the competition.

The award ceremony for winners and prize-winners is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025. According to the results of the second season of the competition, materials about the participants’ travels will be posted on the interactive map of tourist routes of the Far East, which means that anyone can repeat their path. 

In 2023, the Grand Prix for the best trip to the Far East was received by Primorye Anton Konobievsky, who made a solo kayak trip along the coast of the Primorsky Territory from Dubova Bay to Vladivostok lasting 17 days and a length of 500 kilometers. Twice the traveler had to wait out the storm in the closed bays, almost every day rowing against the wind. The winner was awarded at the international exhibition-forum "Russia" at VDNKh in Moscow.
