In Partizansk, an intellectual game on finance was held

In the framework of the project of the Primorsky Territory "Financial Marathon "On the Financial Wave" at the end of June, a visiting event was held in Partizansk. It was attended by more than 60 people, which testifies to the high interest of the residents of the city to the issues of economic competence. The goal of the project is to increase the level of financial literacy of the population and the formation of a sustainable financial culture in the region. >> During the year, experts in the field of financial literacy – representatives of government bodies, state and commercial organizations – visit all cities and districts of Primorye. Within the framework of the marathon, lectures and consultations are held, bringing together different age groups, from young people to the older generation.

Participants learned about key aspects of personal finance management, cyber literacy and fraud prevention. Experts spoke about modern electronic services, the tax on professional income for the self-employed, benefits, the Primorsky social card, as well as about state social assistance on the basis of a social contract.

The educational day ended with the intellectual game "First Entrepreneurs of the Primorsky Territory", prepared by the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye). The game brought together 4 teams of five people who decided to test their knowledge of the history of entrepreneurship in the region. In the quiz format, the teams answered questions related to the development of business in Vladivostok in the XIX - early XX centuries. Participants learned about the first merchants and industrialists of Primorye, about finding profitable houses and their owners, which enterprises became the basis of the economy of young Vladivostok, how entrepreneurs of that time mastered new markets and developed trade.

We are very pleased that our game "First Entrepreneurs of Primorsky Krai" caused such a lively response among the participants of the financial marathon. Historical memory is the basis for understanding modern economic processes. Through the game, we talk about the entrepreneurial heritage of Primorye. The game was held in a dynamic format: the teams not only demonstrated erudition, but also showed strategic thinking, choosing to increase points. The fight was intense, but by the end, one team had come forward with the most correct answers. The winners received prizes from the Tourist Information Center of Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye), and all participants received useful materials on financial literacy.

The game was amazing! I didn't expect the history of entrepreneurship to be so fascinating. I especially liked the questions about apartment buildings - now I will definitely go to see these buildings when I am in Vladivostok. The organizers are good: both informative and fun, and the prizes are excellent!
