The Ministry of Tourism of the Primorsky Territory and the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) at the MITT exhibition, which was held in Moscow from March 18 to March 20, presented a tourist map dedicated to the memorable date - the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The map is based on a military-patriotic quest with a visit to iconic places that emphasize the participation of Primorye in the struggle for victory.

Primorye has a rich history and glorious traditions that must be demonstrated, future generations, residents and guests of the region should know about them.

Despite the remoteness of Primorye from the arena of hostilities, its residents did not remain on the sidelines. They collected gifts from working soldiers of the Leningrad Front (note: only in 1942 three such trains were sent), carried money and bonds to the Defense Fund - by mid-February 132.8 million rubles were collected, 4 million rubles were collected for the construction of the Primorsky Komsomolets armored train. The girls volunteered for the Navy, the housewives began to master fishing professions in order to increase the annual plan for fishing, repaired shooters, station premises and the railway line. Vladivostok port workers, using high-speed methods, prematurely unloaded ships arriving at the port. The Metalist factory, which produced ammunition for the front, produced twice as much production in 1942 as in 1941. The Pacific Fleet sent almost a third of its personnel to participate in combat operations on land.

Places of military glory, museums, monuments, memorial plaques - all this was reflected in the map, included in the tourist and information infrastructure, forming spaces of historical memory. Participants of the military-patriotic quest will be able to learn more about the heroic feat of the Primorye in the rear and at the front.

The Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) is confident that this quest will not be a one-time quest on the eve of the anniversary date of the Victory Day celebration, but will be held on an ongoing basis. Participation in it will be interesting for students and schoolchildren.

The maps were in great demand among tourists and colleagues from other regions. One of the advantages of the created map, all noted their multifunctionality. It helps not only to get acquainted with the city itself, but also to visit locations related to the Great Patriotic War, to get acquainted with the history of the Hasan events. The demand for patriotism is very high. Preserving the legacy of victory is the task of each of us. It is very important to create the legacy that will remain after us. Creating tourist routes is not only a tribute to memory, our respect for the time and those people who forged the Victory. This is also the development of infrastructure, hospitality, information security, a huge educational resource for children and young people, said Anastasia Povetkina, Deputy Head of the Tourism and Information Department of the Tourist and Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye)
