In Primorye, hiking in the mountains want to make more attractive and comfortable

Active tourism in Primorye, in particular hiking in the mountains, want to take to a new level, give it attractiveness and comfort. Municipalities can also join in creating conditions and attracting tourists who respect active recreation with their ideas. Creative approach, the organization of hiking trails, the integration of the peaks of the "Seaside leopard" in the proposed routes, the creation of conditions for recreation will make these destinations more attractive among tourists.

Recall, the status of the "Maritime leopard" and a special sign receives the one who conquered the ten peaks of Primorye: the city of Cloud (1 854 m), the city of Snow (1 682 m), the city of Segostra (1 671 m), the city of Olkhovaya (1 669 m), Golets (1 60 m), the city of Lysai (1 560 m), Livadia (Pidan 1 332 m), the city of Segostra (1 pant;19;), the Lithuanianspantt;2;;spantim>>> 8000000000000000>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Sports>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The rest went to the top in groups together with tour companies or in the team of sports clubs. The youngest conqueror was a representative of the weaker sex - 11-year-old Darina Y. from Artem. The most experienced and age-old "bars" - 67-year-old Igor F. from Vladivostok.

“I first visited all the peaks in the warm season, then I began to walk in the winter. Reaching the mountain top is exciting. And attractive. But these routes are increasingly for locals. It's not mass. And it's not even extreme. In this case, many would go for curiosity. The tops of the “seaside leopard” are a narrower category of tourism. Somewhere expensive long, somewhere to spend the night in the field. Guests from the western regions, who come to Primorye and who have limited time, are unlikely to choose this kind of acquaintance with the region, except that the most fanatical. After all, you need to love tourism, mountains to go to the top, – said seaside photographer Vitaly Berkov, who received the sign of “bars” in 2016.

Since 2007, when “bars” began to record their ascents, there were only a few. There are dozens at the turn of the decade. In 2019, 179 people, respectively, received a commemorative sign. After the pandemic and against the background of the popularization of domestic tourism, the fascination with mountains began to grow again. In 2023, the list of “Seaside leopards” was replenished by 80 people, and in 2024 – by 112 people.

Groups are led to the tops regularly. In the list of our routes seven peaks out of ten. In three cases, there are road problems. Who is he, the conqueror of the heights? 99.9% is a resident of Primorye. We already have our own groups and tourists who come with us regularly. These are mainly people aged 25-45 years. The best time is autumn, and oddly enough, winter. There is no stuffiness and humidity, no extreme, especially when you do not need to break the trail through the snow that has just fallen. Visitors are not ready to conquer the peaks and become “leopards”: the wrong climate, high humidity in summer, protracted climbs, plus clothing for hiking. But it is necessary to support this type of tourism so that a holiday in the mountains is exciting, rich, memorable. This is the image of the region, the safety of independent tourists, prospects for the future generation, - said Irina Kanyukova, head of the travel team "Movement".

What's next? What can I pay attention to? Equip hiking trails to the foot, form resting places, install information stands and signs, you can attract entrepreneurs to organize overnight stays and meals, start a festival on the approaches to the route (note: they conduct the same in the foothills of Pidan “Borsch Festival”). By the way, with some of these projects, you can safely go to the subsidy programs, which are aimed at the development and popularization of domestic tourism, support for SMEs.
