In Primorye put the accents of youth tourism

A joint meeting of the commissions of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the areas of "Youth Policy" and "Tourism, Physical Culture and Sport", dedicated to youth tourism, was held in the youth capital of Russia - Vladivostok - on Sunday, June 16.

It was attended by the Governor of the Primorsky Territory Oleg Kozhemyako, the Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District Dmitry Artyukhov and the head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) Ksenia Razuvaeva. The head of Primorye spoke to specialists in the field of tourism and youth policy. He stressed that travel and tourism will be excellent guides for Russians who want to learn more about their homeland

Tourism for Patriotic Education

Patriotism, like love, cannot be taught. It is important to show our young man how beautiful our Fatherland is, so that he is rightfully proud of his country, its successes, sights, because you can not love what you do not know, said Oleg Kozhemyako. And the region is working in this direction. So, for example, for what year Primorsky schoolchildren participate in the project "Roads of Victory"

Since May, they go on free one-day excursions and two-day tourist trips along the military-historical routes of the Primorsky Territory with visits to military-historical heritage sites. During these excursions and trips, children get acquainted with memorable places, learn interesting historical facts about the founding of Vladivostok, its formation and development as a city and military base in the Far East, about strengthening the borders of the state. Over the past two years, almost 8,000 young Primorsky residents have become participants in this program

As Chairman of the Commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the direction of “Tourism, Physical Culture and Sport”, the head of the region identified the main priorities for the development of tourism in the country:

• Targeted training in universities for future specialists, as well as attracting students to practical classes;
• Development of auto and mototourism and the organization of appropriate roadside service;
development of ecotourism in the region; parks in thematic areas; These are also equipped beaches, tourist and ecological trails, affordable pricing policy, thoughtful logistics, rest safety, etc. National parks willingly cooperate with tour operators. At the same time, the work of this tandem is aimed not only at holding events, organizing excursions, but also at preserving the ecosystem and observing the anthropogenic load.  

During IV Russian tourist forum "Travel!" a presentation of the tourist potential of Primorye was held - the conversation was about ecological and extreme types of tourism. A sufficient number of events are held in the region, in which sports, extreme, drive are combined. So, at the distance of marathons and half marathons, and this is the “Bridges of Vladivostok”, Magic Vladivostok Ice Run, the Leo.Run trail race, about 40% of athletes under the age of 30 come out. Almost 60% of tourists of the same age category go along the edge on routes of varying complexity. And let’s not forget about winter ice diving, rafting, surfs and saps.

This year in Primorye for the first time took place "Festival of Rhododendron" and the youth landing went to the most vivid and spectacular directions. Over two days, more than 180 students from VVSU and FEFU took part in these tours.

The head of Rosmolodezhye noted that boys and girls are the most traveling part of the population of Russia. 

"Through tourism, children get acquainted with the region, with industrial, educational potentials and choose for themselves the trajectory of professional development," Ksenia Razuvaeva said. 

She added that tourism can be an excellent tool for educational work with young people. Primorsky Krai is one of the popular destinations of trips among the participants of the program “More than a journey”. Over the three seasons of its development, more than 1.2 thousand young Primorye citizens went on useful trips around the country, and more than 2.2 thousand children from other regions of the country visited the region. So, this year, high school students from Makhachkala, Derbent, Kostroma and Perm have already met with Primorye. The guys won a trip to the east of Russia at the international exhibition-forum "Russia"

TIME TO THE FUTURE 

A kind of "ticket" to the profession in Primorye was the "School of a Young Guide" and the project "Striped Navigator", which celebrated five-year anniversary. Every year the number of young, active, interested in the history of the region and willing to become participants in projects increases. In 2024, two streams of “strips” were formed – about 40 people were involved in the classes. Volunteers run along the central routes of Vladivostok and advise tourists on cultural, active and other types of recreation in the region. People's Diplomacy at the Youth Level

The important moment in the development of youth tourism is people's diplomacy, sports and cultural exchanges. Vladivostok hosted the summer and winter games "Children of Primorye", in which young athletes from Russian regions, the Republic of Belarus, China, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the DPRK participated

Head of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Region, Chairman of the Commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the direction of Youth Policy Dmitry Artyukhov, in turn, shared his experience in implementing youth projects in his region, saying that tourism is one of the most effective ways of conducting youth policy. 

• "Development of civil-patriotic and public tourism",
• "Popularization of domestic tourism among young people",
• "Deve international tourism direction among young people". During the annual report to the regional Legislative Assembly, the Governor of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako announced the results of the tourism industry in the region over the past year. Thus, the head of the region noted that three major projects in the tourism sector are being implemented in Primorye: this is the creation of a world-class ski resort “Arsenyev”, the development of an integrated entertainment resort “Primorye” and the year-round sea resort “Zarubino”. In addition, business tourism is developing in the region. Major events are held for entrepreneurs, including the international level – the Eastern Economic Forum, the Maritime Congress, the Investment and Industrial Forum and others. Young entrepreneurs actively participate in the formation of the business agenda, demonstrate their achievements, offer interesting projects. Recall that in the fall of 2024, the All-Russian Youth Tourism Forum “More than a Journey” will be held in Vladivostok.
