In Primorye, tourists buy honey as souvenirs

Primory honey is gaining popularity among tourists. Moreover, both Russians and foreign guests. Each guest has their own preferences and choices.

Souvenirs from Primorye are always closely associated with the sea, lighthouses and rocky shores. But Primorye is a place where the Pacific Ocean and the Ussuri taiga meet. And honey perfectly fits into the souvenir line. Moreover, now a trend is clearly visible - tourists want not only magnets, but also something tasty than you can please and surprise loved ones upon returning home. In the souvenir shop in the central square of the city, guests, along with chocolate, veal, shells, buy honey. As it turned out, almost every fifth Chinese tourist makes such a purchase, and does not petite – immediately takes a liter jar. Russians also take seaside honey, but prefer the product in small packaging.

When we receive Chinese groups, we often organize various promotions, tastings, during which we treat guests with honey and chaga tea. There is also a store with a large selection of gastronomic souvenirs from Primorye, and there they already take away the soul. An important aspect for tourists from China is beautiful packaging, the Chinese are very fond of the original design. After the excursion program in the evening before departure, our tourists actively go to the nearest grocery store and buy honey. They take a lot. And they choose different varieties. They argue that it is delicious and useful. They say that heard – someone from friends, someone was at exhibitions and fairs, someone read in social networks, – adds the Director of the company “Ajax-Tour” Olga Korotya. Apparently, remember at the last minute about the need to purchase souvenirs, including tasty. According to the employees of the counters, both Russian and foreign passengers buy honey. Sometimes there are days when the buyer ratio is 50 to 50. The most active are Chinese passengers, they prefer lime and flower honey, Russians are less modest in their choice. Periodically, representatives of the DPRK also buy honey, the seller singled them out by icons with portraits of the leaders.

There is another nuance. Honey is controlled products, and if a tourist is carrying honey for personal use, and this is obvious, then no veterinary certificates for products are required. And if a tourist takes out, for example, ten liters of honey, then there is no appropriate veterinary certificate can not do. By the way, according to the same inspectors, the Chinese are insured - when passing the inspection show even shop checks for the purchase of honey.
