Vladivostok entered the TOP-10 cities for bleisure travel

Bronevik.com platform (part of MTS Travel) explored the popularity of bleisure*-travel, combining business trips with a mini-vacation. Vladivostok was in second place in the country for this type of trip. Every second trip to Vladivostok over the past year has captured weekends. Most often, business trips Russians combine with a mini-holiday in Greater Sochi and Vladivostok – on the coasts of the Black and Japanese seas, half of the business trips capture one or two weekends. Obviously, business tourists tend to combine “pleasant with useful” and stay in these regions to get acquainted with local attractions. 

In general, the number of business trips in Russia, including weekends, increased by 19% over the year. Hotels for such trips were booked on average 10 days before arrival, while for purely business trips - only a week. The average duration of bleisure-travel was 4 nights against 2 nights for regular business trips. The average check for booking accommodation for business trips with a mini-holiday was 17 400 rubles, and for business trips without a weekend - 7 900 rubles. * from the English words "business" (business) and  "leisure" (rest)
