The 83rd anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War on June 22 will be celebrated in Russia and Primorsky Krai. On the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, rallies, flower layings, special film screenings, lessons of courage, actions “Candle of Memory” will be held in all municipalities of the region. As reported in the Ministry of Culture and Archival Affairs, the Day of Memory and Grief is annually celebrated on June 22 - this is the official memorable date of Russia, enshrined in federal law. " This year marks the 83rd anniversary of Nazi Germany’s attack on the Soviet Union. On June 22, the people of our country pay tribute to those who died on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, those who selflessly worked in the rear, bringing victory closer. Regional and municipal cultural institutions have prepared for the residents of the region a number of events dedicated to the memorable date, - said the specialists of the department.

In the Primorsky State Public Library named after A.M. Gorky, a cultural and educational project "Far from the war", and in the regional library for the blind, a film from the cycle "Proper cinema" will be viewed.
