For the first time in Primorye will hold the “Festival of rhododendron”

A wide-scale festival will be held in Primorye in late April. And it will be dedicated to rhododendron. True, many people call him a bagulant. But the bagula is completely different, nothing to do with our rhododendron. And there are festivals of bagulica in Russia. But the "Festival of rhododendron" will be only for us.

The flowering of rhododendron is fascinating. And the desire to see this miracle of nature for many will be the discovery of Primorye. The whole region with its amazing natural landscapes will turn into a festival venue. Primorsky residents and guests of the region are waiting for a large program: in one “bundle” there will be tourism, gastronomy, science, creativity, culture. The initiator and organizer of the "Festival of Rhododendron" is the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye).

Primorsky residents and guests of the region in the framework of the "Festival of Rhododendron" at special prices will be able to go on tours and on excursions to the flowering places of rhododendron. Participants of excursion tours will be representatives of the media sphere and youth landing.
In restaurants, guests will be offered desserts and drinks that remind of the spring beauty of the seaside nature.
There will be photo exhibitions on the city sites, where you can see different types of flowering rhododendron in the frame and in various places.
The Rhododendron Day has been held in the Botanical Garden of Vladivostok for 20 years. This year will not be an exception: research work, creativity, various events from partners.
In a number of districts of the region and Vladivostok, subbotniks and environmental actions will be held to plant rhododendron.

> All these events will be the occasion to create dozens, hundreds and even thousands of photos with views of Primorye with delicate flowers of rhododendron. And already in the first days of the festival, this real "wave" will cover not only the east of the country, but also shift to the western regions.

In Primorye, with the involvement of scientists, taking into account the weather and geography, a calendar of rhododendron blooms will be formed annually, special excursions to flowering places, and thematic workshops will be held. And we will have not just khans, but khans in the seaside. By the way, in 2024, it has been 30 years since this flower became the official symbol of Vladivostok. So there is a reason to make the holiday bright, interesting and large-scale.
