Celebrate the New Year according to the Eastern calendar in the center of Vladivostok

Residents and guests of Vladivostok on February 10 celebrate the New Year according to the Eastern calendar. And although for the neighbors of Primorye - residents of the Celestial Empire, this holiday marks the arrival of spring, but it is still winter on the calendar. Let's not forget that. To warm the soul and body, the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) organizes a “Chinese tea party.” 

At 13:30 guests of the holiday will be treated to a hot and fragrant drink by the Zuma restaurant, and at 18:30 their recipe for hot tea will be offered by “Phytonapits”. In total, 600-650 portions will go to the people. The recipe for drinks is local wildflowers, berries and fruits, a mixture of teas, fragrant herbs popular in China. In the preparation of beverages, we use recipes and technologies that combine ingredients that unite not only the cultures of the two countries, but even our trade relations. Also on this day, an ice rink, slides, food court will work on the central square of Vladivostok, where everyone can taste oriental cuisine. A diverse cultural program awaits guests.

In 2024 and 2025, Russia and China celebrate the years of joint culture. This means that during these years, various events will be held to strengthen cultural cooperation between the two countries. And since Primorye and China are geographically close, the region will host many different events initiated by public organizations, travel companies and municipalities.
