On Saturday, March 20, the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Krai (Visit Primorye) together with the graduates of the fifth stream of the "Young Guide School" with the support of the Tourism Agency of the Primorsky Krai [https://region.visit-primorye.ru/] conducted a quest on the tiger sites of the historical part of Vladivostok.
Participants of the event were a group of the winners of the project "More than a trip" with an extensive geography of the regions: Primorsky Krai, Irki region, held in the past year. Then 24 teams took part in the event, and the total number of “tiger intellectuals” was 119 people. This time, an innovation was added to the passage of the quest - young guides worked on the route. They told about the sights in the area of the Embankment of Sports Harbor, where there are five memorable places dedicated to one of the main symbols of the city and the region - the Amur tiger. The graduates told the tourists about the art object of the Seven Hills, the Leopard Vasily, the tiger cubs on the Embankment and the metal monument - the art object of the tiger near the sports complex "Olympian". High season ahead. And now, on the eve of it, we are testing our young specialists in work and trying to delegate some of the tasks in conducting excursions to them. It is nice that the children are able to apply all the knowledge gained on interaction with the audience and conducting excursions in practice, explained Anastasia Povetkina, Deputy Director of the Tourist and Information Department of the Tourist and Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye). So, in recent months, the “tiger” quest was held five times as part of the information promotion of the tourist potential of the region, and more than 130 people became participants in the quiz and excursions to tiger places.
