Khasan district is a mecca of beach holidays in the region, a point of attraction for guests and residents of the Primorsky Territory. The sea, nature, history - all this attracts tourists to the area. The opportunity to show the beauty of the Khasan district became the reason for the consciousness of the photo exhibition “Khasan is the pearl of Primorye”.
Today, August 9, the official opening of the exhibition took place, in which representatives of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) and the administration of the Khasan municipal district.
Residents of the Khasan district – Oleg Pyatin and Valery Chekalov – traveled along picturesque routes, filmed natural beauty and in photos were able to reflect all the diversity and wealth of the southern Primorye. Through the images of toponymy in their pictures, the authors of the photo tell the stories of their campaigns and expeditions. Visitors are invited to see the diversity of the pristine nature of the amazing Khasan district through the eyes of photographers.
The key task of the exhibition is to present the natural and recreational potential of the south of the Primorsky Territory. The exhibition “Hasan – the Pearl of Primorye” is one of the stages of the toponomic and local lore project “ABC of Primorye”. The goal of the project is to teach the younger generation to reveal the natural, cultural and cognitive potential of our region through vivid images. Representatives of the federal program “Professionality” of Vladivostok State University joined the implementation of the educational project “ABC of Primorye” this year. Together with the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye), representatives of the basic organization of the tourism and services cluster created an interactive at the exhibition site: they held a fascinating quiz on knowledge of historical and local history facts about the history of the region. The photos of our photographers are a driver and an opportunity to inspire the younger generation through creativity to new achievements in the framework of exploring regional attractions. One of the objectives of the exhibition is to acquaint visitors with the rich natural diversity of natural beauties of the Khasan district, Anastasia Povetkina, Deputy Head of the Tourism and Information Department of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory, told about the exhibition. Venue: Local History Museum of the Hasan MO, Slavyanka, Heroes of Hasan St., 4. Opening hours: from 09:00 to 18:00 on working days (Saturday and Sunday are days off). Entrance to the exhibition is free.
Organizers of the exhibition "Hasan - the Pearl of Primorye": the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) with the support of the Ministry of Tourism of the Primorsky Territory and the Primorsky Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society - the Society for the Study of the Amur Region. The project “Khasan – the Pearl of Primorye” is one of the stages of the toponymic and local lore project “ABC of Primorye”, which is implemented by the regional Tourist and Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) since 2023.
