Tokarevsky Lighthouse

На карте
Анастасия Тепикина На карте The Tokarevsky Lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses in the Russian Far East and remains an important navigation facility and a popular attraction in Vladivostok.

It is located on a man-made rocky spit known as the Tokarevsky Cat which extends from the Tokarevsky Cape. In 1876, a luminous sign was installed here, and in 1910, a round, white stone lighthouse tower, 12 meters high, was placed on an octagonal foundation. It has remained in its original form to this day. The Tokarevsky Lighthouse provides safe passage for ships to Vladivostok through the Eastern Bosporus Strait.

The Tokarevsky Lighthouse is also a symbol of Vladivostok and a favorite place for city residents to relax. The view of the Russian Bridge and St. Helena Island from here is breathtaking. Visitors can watch yachts and ships passing by for a long time. Also, the sunsets, which are particularly beautiful in Vladivostok, can be observed from here.
