Khasan municipal district is the pearl of the Far East. In summer, thousands of tourists from all over the region flock to the favorite local beaches. But even with the end of the beach season in the Khasan district there is something to do and see.
Today, the Khasan district is the most southern and protected area in the Primorsky Territory.

Far Eastern Marine Reserve
Created in 1978 to preserve rare species of flora and fauna of Primorye. More than 90% of the reserve area is the Sea of Japan.
Furugelm Island
It is unique in its natural biodiversity and beauty of landscapes. It is part of the Far Eastern Marine Reserve, so before visiting you need to obtain a permit to stay in the protected area. Local staff can conduct a tour of the island.
Cape Islet False
