Mount Sister

Sister Mountain (1671 m) is one of the notable peaks of southern Sikhote-Alin on the border of Lazovsky and Chuguevsky districts, in the national park "Call of the Tiger". This place is about space and a clear horizon: from above you can see the waves of ridges, deep valleys and a chain of rocky “teeth” along the crest. Nearby is Stone Brother (1,402 m), a ridge with impressive rock remains known as “Dragon Teeth” runs between them. From these peaks, wide panoramas open to the valleys of Ussuri and Milogradovka and a significant part of the territory of the national park.

The best time is from late spring to autumn: it smells like cedar, blueberry on the trail, in autumn - bright colors of the taiga; in winter the species are especially clear, but cold and windy. The sister is liked by those who like not extreme, but a calm mountain day with an understandable goal - to get up, sit on the top, take a couple of pictures and just exhale. Take comfortable shoes, windbreaker, water - and respect the rules of the national park: do not litter, do not burn bonfires, walk on trails.
