The Illusion Cinema Complex is the first international standard cinema in the Far East. The cinema opened with the film “Enemy of the State” by the famous director Tony Scott on June 11, 1999 at the Regional Youth House. The official opening took place on July 23, 1999. On this day, the premiere of the most expensive at that time project of Russian cinema - "Siberian Barber". With the opening of the Illusion cinema, the modern history of film distribution and the formation of the Illusion cinema network in the Primorsky Krai began.

In 2012, a global reconstruction was carried out in the Illusion cinema, as a result of which on December 20, 2012 the Illusion cinema offered its viewers a new quality of cinema - a unique technology "Illusion". The revolutionary technology required a complete change in the configuration of the large hall – a steeper inclination amphitheater of spectators and a huge “floating” screen all over the wall. Another innovative approach to watching the film is 20 vibrating chairs located in the center of the hall. Now you can not only see, hear, but also feel.

Today, the Illusion cinema is a modern cinema with 4 halls (539 seats), in a diverse repertoire of which there are always cartoons and family movies. On weekends, children's entertainment programs are held in the lobby of the cinema.
