Lighthouse on Scot Island

The lighthouse is located in the southwestern part of Shkota Island and bears the same name. The island itself and, accordingly, the lighthouse is named in honor of Captain 1st Rank Nikolai Yakovlevich Shkot.

Now the lighthouse is abandoned and dilapidated, but you can walk to it. To the lighthouse itself leads an easily traversed path. The site offers views of the high cliffs, the coast of the Sea of Japan and kekurus.

The lighthouse is administered by the Hydrographic Service of the Pacific Fleet of Russia.
