Lighthouse Inaccessible

The Inaccessible Lighthouse is installed on the eastern shore of Nakhodka Bay in Peter the Great Bay at Cape Impregnable. The lighthouse is designed to ensure navigation of ships in Nakhodka Bay.
The construction of the lighthouse was started in 1970, when the foundation of the lighthouse building was laid. The construction was completed in 1972, when the red brick tower was installed. A year later, all built lighthouse facilities were taken into operation.
The Inaccessible Lighthouse has a height of 14.28 meters from the top of the planned territory of the lighthouse to the top of the deflector on the roof of the lamp structure. The lighthouse is installed at an altitude of 18 meters above sea level, at a distance of 18 meters from the edge of the nearest cliff.
The Inaccessible Lighthouse is administered by the Hydrographic Service of the Pacific Fleet.
