Memorial complex for border guards who died defending the borders of the Fatherland
#80th anniversary of Victory

The memorial complex to border guards who died defending the borders of the Fatherland was opened in 1997. The complex includes a symbolic border post and sculptures of border guards with a dog, as well as a memorial plate and coats of arms of Russia and the USSR. Around the monument are depicted symbols of three eras: the Russian Empire, the USSR and modern Russia. Commemorative events are held here annually on May 28, and the Eternal Flame burns in the days of military glory of the country.
