Reineke Island

Like the neighboring island of Popova, Reinecke Island was discovered by French and English sailors in the 50s of the XIX century. And in the early 60s of the last century, it was explored by the Russian expedition of Captain Babkin, who named the island in honor of his teacher, head of the Hydrographic Service of the Russian Empire Mikhail Frantsevich Reineke.
On the island there is a small village where no more than a hundred people live. However, in the summer the number of "Aboriginal" increases significantly. Reineke is a popular holiday destination for tourists who are attracted by picturesque rocky shores, small coves, sandy beaches and a warm transparent sea.
> Larga seals live on the coast of the island, sometimes dolphins can be seen here. The rich underwater world of the island, underwater cliffs attract fans of diving and underwater hunting to the island.
The most famous island attractions are red cliffs, the gorge "Devil's House", stone pillars, the grotto "Sea Corpstallet" and the sunken ship "Peresvet", which for many years served as a target during military exercises.
