Volunteer project "Striped Navigator"
All volunteers are provided with a special uniform in the bright branded “striped” color of the region. In particular, volunteers have the necessary printing for simplicity and convenience in work.
Several times a year, before the active tourist season, volunteers are trained with the involvement of tourism industry experts. Volunteers are guided by the manual, which was developed jointly with the tourist police (specialized by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Vladivostok). It contains information that can be used to advise tourists on entertainment, sightseeing, as well as in emergency situations.
The project has been implemented since 2019 by the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (VisitPrimorye) with the support of the Ministry of Tourism of the Primorsky Territory.
Volunteers inform about where you can go, what objects to visit, what is interesting happening now in Vladivostok and not only. For 5 years of the project, volunteers have provided consulting assistance to more than 5 thousand tourists.
