The Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre is a concert and theatre complex located in Vladivostok. The artistic director is Valery Gergiev.
The Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre is one of the most modern theaters in Russia and the Asia-Pacific region, built as part of the preparation for the APEC-2012 summit. The theater building, with its glass panoramic facade, has become one of the brightest tourist attractions in Primorye. The busy repertoire, excellent acoustic properties of the halls, and high professionalism of the performers have made the Primorsky Stage one of the most rapidly developing theaters in Russia and the ATR countries.
In 2016, the Primorsky Stage presented the largest cultural project in the region - the International Far Eastern Festival "Mariinsky". The program featured leading performers of world opera, ballet, and instrumental music from Russia, the ATR countries, Europe, and America. Following the festival, it was decided to make it an annual summer music forum.
