The city of Vladivostok and Primorsky Krai became symbols of steadfastness and contribution to the overall victory over the troops of Germany and Japan. The Second World War ended in the Far East.

The walking tour will reveal the role of Vladivostok during the Great Patriotic War and the Second World War. Participants will learn how the Primorskys provided the front with weapons and food, sent volunteers to the front, collected money and gifts for the front, sewed clothes. Together with the participants, we will recall the young firefighters who died on flights to deliver vital cargo to the allies.

The route will pass through the historical center of Vladivostok: the central square, the Ship Embankment, the Memorial of the S-56 submarine and other memorable places of the capital of the Primorsky Territory.

The ship’s embankment is one of the main attractions of Vladivostok, which offers panoramic views of the Golden Horn Bay and the Golden Bridge. This is a place with a rich history, where the construction of a military post began, marking the beginning of the city.
