The Arsenyev Museum will host a presentation of the publishing novelty: the album "Illustrations of Sergei Cherkasov". It included works from the collections of fine arts of the Arsenyev Museum – images for the works of V.K. Arsenyev “Across the Ussuri Territory” and “Dersu Uzala”. Illustrations are accompanied by fragments from books.

The museum collections store Sergey Cherkasov's cycles to two books by V.K. Arsenyev, testifying to the high level of book illustration in the art of the Far East and the artist's skill, who managed to combine the text with a visual image.

The compiler of the album was a senior researcher at the Arsenyev Museum, art historian Olga Zotova, the author of photo reproductions - head of the digital development department of the museum, photographer Slava Ivanov.

The presentation will be attended by honored artist of Russia Sergey Mikhailovich Cherkasov.
