Mount Livadia is located in southern Sikhote Alina and is the dominant peak of the Livadia Range. The unofficial, but most common name of the mountain is the old name - Pidan, presumably of Chinese origin, formed by components: pi - great, large; dan - rocks, that is, "Great Rocks". There is a myth that in translation from the language of the Jurchen the name means "Stones poured by God", this name of the mountain received thanks to the kurumas (stone rashes), covering a significant area of slopes, as well as directly peaks. The climbing route is sporty. First, the group gets on a passable truck to a forest glade, where a walking route along the forest trail along the creek begins. After an hour, the trail will begin to gain height, and the last section of the path will pass on large stones - kurums. Pidan reaches a height of 1,332 meters above sea level and is among the top ten peaks to receive the icon “Seaside Bars”. From the mountain there is a magnificent view of Mount Falaza (Litovka), Nakhodka Bay, sometimes in especially clear weather even the pylons of the bridge to Russky Island are visible.

Excursion program*:

• 05:00 — departure from Vladivostok by bus from the east. Meadow, downtown. Sanitary stop in Shkotovo. Travel information
• 07:30 - arrival in the village of Lukyanivka. Transfer to a cross-country car
• 07:50-08:50 - moving by road to the foot of the mountain. The cars are equipped with wooden shops. You need to take hobkas or bedding for sitting and blankets
• 08:50 - safety, preparation for climbing. All unnecessary things can be left in the truck or in the bus
• 09:00-13:00 - climbing Mount Pidan. First you walk along the stream, then steeply gain height along the forest path, and at the final stretch you move along the large stones to the very top. Places on the stones need to climb.
• 13:30-14:30 - rest on the top. Snack on your own food. Pidan is considered a place of power. All the desires made at the top come true. To fulfill the desire, it is enough to preserve the mountain in its original form, without leaving garbage in the form of bandaged ribbons, sweets, cookies and other offerings. • 14:30-18:00 - descent from the mountain to the truck
• 18:00-19:00 - transfer by road from the foot of the mountain to the bus. If desired, you can have dinner in a pleasant village cafe and celebrate a successful ascent
