> The exhibition will feature silver salt shakers from the collection of two Chelyabinsk collectors: Egor Khrebtov and Vyacheslav Nesterov.

All exhibits from the private collections of Egor Khrebtov and Vyacheslav Nesterov were made in pre-revolutionary Russia, some by very famous jewelers: Karl Faberge, Ivan Khlebnikov, the Grachev brothers.

Salts are made of silver, decorated with various patterns, inscriptions, other decor. The oldest copy is from 1824.

The shapes of salt shakers are different, and the more unusual they are, the more valuable. There is a salt-stool, a bucket, paired salt shakers. There are salt shakers with proverbs written on them. For example, the popular version: "Without salt, without bread - half lunch." There is also a rare proverb, with a hint: “Eat not salt, not your salt.”
