Trepang

>The Chinese name of the place where Vladivostok was founded in 1860 is Haishenwei, i.e. "Trepang Bay". In the people, this echinoderm animal is jokingly called a sea cucumber for some external similarity with a vegetable. Trepang meat is made of many different dishes: soups and sodiums, casseroles, stewed with vegetables, legumes.

> Interestingly, during cooking, trepang is reduced by five times. But its power is not so much in taste as in useful properties.
