Trumpeter

The shell of this mollusk gave it its name. If you remember different paintings, legends, films, how the heroes trumpeted into a large sea shell, then here is a reduced copy of such a shell. Catching mollusk begins in October and ends by February. Sea mollusk has a soft fillet, pleasant taste and aroma. Its structure is more delicate than that of octopuses and squid. The trumpeter is valued higher than the same mussel.

The trumpeter is eaten in its pure form, roasted in oil, in litter, used in salads, solyans, juliens, eaten with rice and paste, stewed with mushrooms. The main thing is not to digest the shellfish, otherwise the meat will become hard.

Useful properties of the trumpeter are highly valued not only in cooking, but also in medicine. Like other seafood, it increases the tone of the body, improves immunity, normalizes metabolism. Low-calorie trumpeter can be used in a diet. Mollusk does not provoke weight gain, but cleanses the intestines from toxins and helps to lose weight with the preservation of healthy muscle mass.
