The birthday of Vladivostok, its 165th anniversary, residents and guests of the Far Eastern capital celebrated the marathon of excursions. Participants in seven excursions and two quests were more than 170 people.  On the routes went not only Primorye, but also tourists from other regions of the country: in the history of Vladivostok immersed residents of Arsenyev, Ussuriysk, Luchegorsk, Khabarovsk, Blagoveshchensk, Irkutsk, Yekaterinburg, Yaroslavl, Moscow, Shchelkovo. And even the mercury column, which stubbornly crawled up, could not scare away fans of excursions. From morning to evening, tourists walked around the center of Vladivostok, studied its culture, traditions and military-patriotic heritage.

Organization of walking tours is always a responsibility. But it's also a great joy. It is very important to show guests such a city, so that they are imbued with the same feelings that each of us has: pride, love, respect. And it is very pleasant that our excursions are interesting and in demand among the guests of the city who came to us from the regions of the Far East, Siberia, the Urals, Moscow and the Moscow region. Groups were formed literally two days after the announcement of the strat. But this is not the last marathon of excursions, we will soon announce new announcements, she shared her impressions of holding holiday excursions. Anastasia Povetkina, Deputy Head of the Tourism and Information Department of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye).

> On this day, two quests were planned.  Going along the route "Quest of wishes", the guests visited places of power in Vladivostok and made cherished wishes.

"The walk is very interesting. I liked that the host was constantly in dialogue and, so to speak, in accessibility: they could ask a question and get an answer. Time flew by unnoticed. I liked that the information was presented unpretentiously, and the locations were connected.  And the tasks were built in such a way that they had new facts about the city. It was very interesting, I advise my friends and relatives to go on such a walk, shared her impressions from Vladivostok resident Anna N.

"I myself live in Vladivostok and I would like to learn more about it from different sides of history. In fact, I did not expect that this was not a tour, but a quest. But it was interesting! Thanks to the interactive - riddles, to find a specific place by photo, to fold a phrase, to find information - it was exciting, and time flew by quickly, - told about her experience of passing the quest A resident of the Far Eastern capital Inna R

No less interesting were the excursion routes.

"The guide knows his business! I wanted to study the history of the city and decided to start from the beginning. The description of the tour in the announcement fully corresponded to my desire, so I signed up without hesitation. I knew that our city was multi-faceted, but to... I liked the well-built route, complete information and how the guide led the group with her calm voice. So far I am under the impression of this walk, said Vyacheslav I .

On the Eleanor Lord Prey tour. The participants touched the fate of a young American woman who came to Vladivostok during a wedding trip. The result of this voyage was a love for the young city and almost 30 years of life in a house overlooking the Golden Horn Bay. We still have hundreds of her letters and photos, and Eleanor Prey herself is now called the first blogger of Vladivostok. I knew that there was such a woman and she had a monument near GUM. But there wasn't much interest. Arriving in Vladivostok, I decided to go on a tour, the name was tempting. Thanks to the guide for an interesting tour! We went to interesting places, none of the questions remained unanswered. And for me, a lot was a real discovery: some stories and facts from the life of the city, and the customs of that time, said Anton Sh, a resident of Ussuriysk

The name of the tour almost immediately caught my eye. For me, Vladivostok is the sea, freedom, sailors. So I thought I would get the emotions and moods I needed here. I actually got a lot more than I expected. Stories about the lives of sailors, stories about naval service, which, as you know, is not sugar, struck me. I wish I was a writer, I could write a great story. I live in Vladivostok almost all my life, was on many excursions and went to various parts of our region, but knew little about the sea service. Perhaps I will continue to study this topic on my own, Julia S said after a guided tour of the city.

This is my first visit to Vladivostok. Therefore, it was interesting to learn the history of the city to understand its features and differences. The tour interested in its concise description and name, although it sounds a little incongruous. But, as experience has shown me, usually such walks for me are very successful! I was right! A little worried about the heat, but the guide so skillfully put us on each site and so talked about each person and his path that the weather almost did not pay attention. I learned a lot of new things and understood what the city was so attractive in other times and what attracts me now, said Nadezhda D a guest from Blagoveshchensk.

The Japanese kaleidoscope walking tour is the life of the Japanese diaspora in Vladivostok: when the citizens of the Land of the Rising Sun appeared here, what they did business, what Japanese actressess, writers, poets, and not only they did here

I’ve always been interested in Japan, so I didn’t have to choose for a long time. The fact that the Japanese lived in Vladivostok is a well-known fact, but without details. Now this walk has completely changed my perspective on the history of the city. The city even had a society that the Japanese were obliged to join upon arrival. Or those monuments dedicated to Japanese works. I am sure that I will be aware of the information received for a long time. So interesting and sometimes mysterious tour guide told about writers and poets, thoughtfully and carefully led to some reflections on different points of view on the life of the Japanese, unusually told about art and traditions. On the one hand, there is a lot of information, but on the other hand, I would like to learn more, shared my impressions about the walk Muscovite Irina N.

On the excursion Mikhail Yankovsky in the life of the city of Vladivostok. Visitors were able to learn more about the role of the Vladivostok entrepreneur in choosing the path of obtaining financial independence of the JIAC, immersed themselves in the history of profitable houses, appreciated the importance of book trading in the development of the city. To begin with, I'm a book lover. I love books live, not electronic, so I decided to combine hobbies and development. I liked the tour: I delved into the history of the Society for the Study of the Amur Region, I love their lectures, I visit almost every one of them. The tour guide himself seemed to me a passionate person: his eyes literally burned when we asked questions and clarified the details, you can see what is in its place. It was interesting to listen to a person who has access to the archive, full information about society. What a speech! I want to listen and listen, — left a review about the walk a resident of Vladivostok Elena K.

One of the most popular destinations for cognitive walks was a tour of Millionka. Visitors studied the life, life and stages of formation and development of one of the most mysterious, criminal and amazing quarters of Vladivostok.

“We heard a lot about this tour, but never got there. Lucky this time. I’ll tell you right away, I didn’t expect such a walk, in a good way. The tour guide burned his business and lit us. Our attention was focused on the guide, afraid to miss even one word. At first, it was thought that there would be a simple excursion along Fokina Street with a visit to some courtyard. But against expectations, the locations changed each other constantly, there were transitions, small stops ... it was magical And time flew by with the speed of a bullet, said Oksana P. from Yekaterinburg
