More than 7 thousand people visited the Day of the fisherman in Vladivostok

In Vladivostok, the celebration of the Day of the Fisherman (0+) took place. This holiday is considered to be loved and family. Despite the fact that the event was held at a new venue, interest in it was considerable, residents and guests of Vladivostok came whole families. The most active of them were on the site all day, trying to cover all the activities that were presented at the Day of the Fisherman. According to the organizers, the holiday was attended by more than 7 thousand people.

It was interesting for both adults and children. Children of all ages found entertainment to their taste: the smallest guests “conquered” icebergs, young creative natures were engaged in drawing, the most curious wanted to know how “printed” gingerbread, and the most diligent tried to comprehend the basics of knitting sea knots. At the festive venue, creative groups created the mood: they sang songs about fishermen, about Vladivostok, about good mood and friendship. For two hours, the tone was set by the pop orchestra of Moscow State University. G.I. Nevelsky under the leadership of Anatoly Yakimenko.

Infinite queue lined up for a portion of "goodsup", which according to the established tradition was prepared by the fishing company "Dobroflot". Guests ate more than 2 600 servings of ears!

Restaurants-participants of the gastronomic town - "Omlet Station", "Supra", "Sisters Kim", "Food and Dot", "Bakery BV", "Tokyo" and "Coffemolka" - treated the guests of the holiday with a variety of fish dishes: Korean ear (chemultan); pink salmon baked in lavash; pasta with sorc and pollock, cherry, zukini, cream and shrimp sauce and even the first far Eastern sourd. In total, the guests tasted more than 3.5 thousand dishes and more than 1.7 thousand servings of drinks. The gastronomic master classes were attended by all the guests of the holiday. Chefs of Vladivostok restaurants showed how to cook fish sticks with crispy potatoes, Far Eastern okroshka with pollock and hue from pink salmon, and a team of representatives of the Far Eastern Seafood company held a presentation of Far Eastern fish sticks from pollock. In total, 1 000 portions were eaten.

Within the framework of the celebration of Fisherman’s Day (0+), the regional competitions in fishing sport “Open Sea” were held for the fourth time. Win caught a fish weighing more than 9 kg, and the total weight of the catch was more than 105 kg - for this the winning team received 300 thousand rubles. Everyone could get acquainted with the tourist potential of Primorye at the counter of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye). Tour companies presented their products and services. The guests of the holiday showed the greatest interest in bus and sea excursions, and someone was ready to go on excursions directly from the event site. The geography of the guests of the Fisherman’s Day (0+) is diverse: there were residents of the Far East, Siberia, Murmansk, Chelyabinsk, the Republic of Komi, Novosibirsk, Tyumen, Moscow and St. Petersburg, etc., as well as guests from the Republic of Belarus and China. They congratulated the Fisherman’s Day, wished the guests a good mood, good fishing, and also noted the value of the holiday both for the economy of the region and for the attractiveness of Primorye – through event events and the positioning of the Far Eastern cuisine. This holiday brings together many people. Primorsky Krai is washed by the Sea of Japan, many rivers and lakes, in any weather, fishermen spend time on these reservoirs to please the family with a catch. But the basis is for professionals who work on expeditions and on Putin. They work on modern ships built in Russia, at seaside shipyards. I wish them fishing luck and full trawls of catches! said the Governor of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako.
