Smell does not lose its popularity at the festival venue in Dalnegorsk

The fourth time was held in Dalnegorsk "Smelt Festival" (0+). From year to year, you can see how fishermen become more gambling, and guests are more active, as the creativity of participants and the skill of chefs grow.

On February 22, the first events of the festival program were the fishermen's competition. On Lake Vaskovskoye passed ice fishing competitions (6+). 52 people took their seats at the holes. The total catch in a couple of hours was 1,758 tails. Last year, the lucky ones caught 830 tails. As they say, "yield" on the face.

The youngest fishermen - four-year-old Katya Danilova and five-year-old Dmitry Vanyushin - caught 2 fish and 20 tails, respectively. The oldest fisherman is 74 years old: despite his age, he catches smelt with enviable constancy and sitting at the hole in the fresh air is a real pleasure. The lucky and winner of the competition was Alexander Oboronov, who caught 238 winter fish

Our key is becoming a platform of attraction, an attractive place of recreation regardless of the season. Such festivals emphasize family traditions, create conditions for families to relax: people of all ages are on the site, and they are not outside observers, but active participants in the holiday. It is very pleasant that such events from one-time to the category of permanent, they form the traditions of our city. In order for the holiday to turn out, enthusiasts, authorities, representatives of SMEs, the regional Tourist Information Center unite their efforts. And it is very important that the result lies much further than the festival: we can all make our city more comfortable and attractive for local residents and for guests, stressed the importance of such events, Alexander Terebilov, head of the Dalnegorsk GO district

The sold-out was also at master classes, where his secrets and recipes shared the chef of the coffee machine network Alexei Belchik and brand chef of the restaurant bar TOOMAN Vladimir Kozhevin. The pavilion barely accommodated everyone, everyone wanted to know what else interesting can be prepared from smelt, except for the usual roast. In total, almost 200 people participated in the four "lessons."

" This is the fourth Smelt Festival, and every year residents and representatives of SMEs of Dalnegorsk openly show an amazing attitude not only to the event itself, but also to its preparation. We are talking about the preparation of the site, public awareness, discussion of working moments, leave nothing for later. And the result is not long in coming: each festival is more and more interesting, says Olga Gurevich, Director of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) . 

This year, almost 2,400 people became guests of the festival in Dalnegorsk, which is 20% more than a year ago.  So the popularity and attractiveness of the holiday and the site is obvious, a year ago about two thousand people were interested in the fish event.
