Celebration of a new life: in Primorye will celebrate the birthday of the scallop
Опубликовано: 30.04.2025
May 3 in the bay of Vityaz on the sea farm Vasily Grebennikov for the fourth time will be held family holiday "Birthday of the scallop." Starting from 12:00, guests will be able to visit the role of marivodes, take part in competitions and master classes, try a scallop according to an old recipe and listen to the hehehe group. Admission is free.
Our goal is not only to acquaint guests with the cycle of scallop life, but also to show that the tourist season in Primorye can begin earlier than usual. Now in the bay of Vityaz is especially good: the sea is abundant, alive, filled with meaning. We believe that such events can become the basis of a new attitude to the sea, and, perhaps, will inspire future farmers to develop mariculture in the region, said the founder of the farm Vasily Grebennikov.
>Guests of the event will be able to go on an excursion to the sea garden, learn how mollusk is grown, and plant a scallop on the seabed with their own hands. By the way, this year the scallop reached its “commodity” maturity, which was laid 3 years ago – during the first birthday.
Young participants of the holiday are waiting for master classes on decorating shells. Everyone's coming home with something. For adults - competitions in high-speed cleaning of mollusk. The menu of the event includes a scallop according to an ancient recipe of marivode, as well as coffee and dishes from the partners of the event. For the musical mood are the Vladivostok indie band hehehe and trio La France.
Everyone can do a good deed and come to the birthday of a scallop with a gift - children's books - but not for a farm, but for a school in the village of Vityaz. The organizers of the holiday will transfer all publications to the library of the institution.
" It is a celebration of taste, sea and real seaside spirit. And most importantly - the opportunity for the whole family to spend a day in nature, try the scallop of the first water and touch the big sea business, sums up Vasily Grebennikov.
