Schoolchildren of Vladivostok got acquainted with the culinary heritage of Soviet Koreans
Опубликовано: 14.11.2025
The event allowed children not only to learn about the culture of their region, but also to prepare a traditional dish with a Far Eastern accent - chemul padjon, or a Korean vegetable pancake with commandor kalmar. Under the guidance of the chef of the family cafe chain “Kim Sisters”, the children happily sliced vegetables and learned to mix the dough. Particular delight was caused by the frying process: each child was able to bake his own crispy “padjon”, filled with delicate squid and fresh vegetables. Once again, children through gastronomy showed how rich and multifaceted the culture of the Far East
> Conducting such master classes contributes not only to the development of culinary skills, but also to the strengthening of intercultural dialogue, understanding the history of the native land and the formation of a sense of pride in the unique heritage of the Far East among the younger generation.
