Vladivostok schoolchildren continue to master dishes from pollock

The next gastronomic master class dedicated to the festival "O!Mega Vkustos" was held at school No. 60 in Vladivostok. Young cooks mastered the preparation of Asian delicacy - spring rolls with pollock.

The choice of such a pollock theme is not accidental. In the region, the festival "O!Mega Taste", and the children were introduced not only to the basics of cooking, but also told about the benefits of wild white fish.

Under the guidance of experienced chefs-mentors from the restaurant ZUMA, almost 30 students from the fourth grade mastered the subtleties of creating this seemingly simple dish. The exciting process did not leave indifferent any of the students. Even the teachers were interested. While the children carefully wrapped in rice paper pre-roasted pollock fillets and fresh vegetables, teachers noted the desire of the children to create in this way. In addition, the chef of the restaurant, Roman Kotovsky, told the children a lot of interesting and important things about the benefits of this fish, as well as how to combine it with different ingredients.

Class leader of the fourth grader Svetlana Chernysheva noted compliance with sanitary and technical standards when working with products. Good quality of the products used, as well as work with children: the age characteristics of schoolchildren were taken into account, and the master class was built so that they were interested. Not superfluous during this lesson was a conversation about professions.

"Children not only learned how to cook rolls, but also learned more about pollock, and the festival itself knew not all the guys. I was there last year, I really liked it. There was even a tasting of some new dishes from pollock. In general - delicious, fun, interesting. We will be happy to participate in such events. Children showed great interest in cooking, and to obtain new knowledge, added Svetlana Chernysheva .

We note that pollock has become an important place in the diet of the inhabitants of the Far East, and the festival "O!Mega Taste", within which the master class was held, is designed to remind of the culinary versatility of this fish.
