Delicious finale of the year: children of Vladivostok learned to cook in the seaside

In December, the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) completed a series of children's gastronomic master classes combining cooking, culture and tourism.

December 10, a master class was held at school No. 18. The guide of the National Center “Russia” in Primorsky Krai Natalia Shalina told the children about the natural wealth and unique flora and fauna of Primorye. Then the chefs of the restaurant Crust Napoli Pizza showed schoolchildren how to cook ravioli in a seaside manner - with filling from seafood. The children learned how the dough for ravioli differs from the usual dumpling, tried themselves as chefs and received delicious gifts from the restaurant - free pizza coupons and participation in a culinary master class. Completion were souvenirs from the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) - tourist maps of Vladivostok and Russian Island.

And on December 17, the hospitable "Russian Samovar" held a master class for students of the 3G class of school No80. The event began with a story by the guide of the National Center “Russia” in the Primorsky Territory Elena Ludnitskaya about the traditions of tea drinking and the history of the samovar. Then the guys, together with the masters, baked pancakes and brewed tea in a real samovar. The children not only tried their treats, but also learned about the ancient Russian customs and symbols of the samovar as the center of the family table.

Both meetings became part of the project of the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye), aimed at familiarizing schoolchildren with the gastronomic traditions of Primorye, the development of domestic tourism and the popularization of the culture of the region through taste and creativity.
