"The closed port of Vladivostok is open, but I do not need there...", - Vladimir Vysotsky once sang. During his active touring and traveling life, Vysotsky traveled throughout the Soviet Union. Often visited the Far East, and reached the shores of the Sea of Japan.
In July 1971, in the then Palace of culture of sailors, the poet gave several concerts. There are many legends about those performances. To get to the concert of a simple mortal was almost impossible. Today, a memorial plaque on the wall near the building of the Pushkin Theatre reminds of that historical event.
Vysotsky Memorial in Vladivostok is located in the Theatre Square, near the Gorky Theatre. Vladimir Semenovich sits on the steps of the amphitheater with a guitar in his hands. And from the installed speakers around the clock, Vysotsky's songs sound.

The monument is located in the Theatre Square next to the Gorky Theatre. You can get there on foot from the central square, following Svetlanskaya Street. You can also use public transport. Take the bus to the Lazo stop. From there, you can walk to the Vysotsky monument in a couple of minutes.
